Lloyds Banking Group is to close a further 45 branches between March and November next year.
The closures, which include Halifax and Bank of Scotland branches, will take the Lloyds estate to 1,061 branches, compared with around 1,800 at the start of 2018.
Lloyds is looking into making an offer for Tesco Bank, which was put up for sale in October.
