Lloyds to shut London and Chelmsford sites

Lloyds TSB is pulling out of its £140bn global share custody and unit trusteeship business.

This will see the closure of its operations in central London and Chelmsford

The bank has made arrangements with State Street Bank and Trust Company of the US to take on the business. It is recommending its existing customers transfer their business there.
