Lloyds Banking Group’s project Verde – the new bank due to be created from the shedding of 60 Lloyds branches – has signed for 35,000 sq ft at 20 Gresham Street, EC2.
Verde will pay a passing rent of around £53 per sq ft on a 15-year lease.
It has taken the fifth floor of the building on assignment from Standard Bank.
Around 250 employees of the new bank will be based at the address, which will serve as its main hub in London and the South East.
CBRE advised Lloyds; AOS Studley and Cushman & Wakefield advised Standard Bank.
