Lobby group revolt against LondonMetric executive’s pay

handing-over-cash-generic-THUMB.jpegA shareholder lobby group is asking shareholders to revolt against LondonMetric chief executive Andrew Jones’s £2.8m pay packet.

The group considers the pay packet to be “excessive” because it represents 435% of Jones’s salary.

It also said that the changes in his pay over five years is not commensurate with the company’s performance over the same period and that the salary is considered above the median for its peer group.

LondonMetric posted a 19% increase in recurring profits in the year to the end of March 2016, with income increasing by 10% to £77.7m.
