Locale appointed the first three recruits to its advisory board, external advisers to provide advice and support to its senior leadership team in April. These were: Adrian Allen, director at AJ Allen Associates and former director at MAPP and EPAM; Chenai Gondo, co-founder and chief operation officer of Hestia; and Olly Freedman, founder of Freedman Consultancy.
Roberts said: “As a long-standing real estate practitioner, I am thrilled by technological innovation, diverse perspectives, and fresh approaches. The composition of the Locale board promises to deliver on all three.
“I look forward to supporting the business in creating even more impactful, industry-leading real estate solutions that elevate standards and improve the built environment.”
Guy Windsor-Lewis, chief executive and founder of Locale, added: “Lesley has been a long-standing friend of Locale; having known her for over a decade and followed her formidable career, she has been a committed believer of technology in real estate and her leadership and experience in our advisory board will be a game-changer.
“Despite the challenging economic landscape, Locale continues to scale, and I have no doubt the advisory board, led by Lesley, will be instrumental in guiding us in our journey and continue to champion the long-lasting benefits of real estate technology.”
Founded in 2005, Locale’s activities span operational real estate and bespoke content streaming across 80m sq ft of residential, commercial and mixed-use property in the UK.
