Loftus Road, the holding company of Queens Park Rangers and Wasps unveiled details of the clubs’ floatation on the Alternative Investment Market. Part of the proceeds will be used to improve the grounds of both clubs. Dealings are expected to begin on November 18.
Details are being hammered out for Sheffield United’s reverse takeover of Conrad. Conrad will pay £9m in shares for United and then raise another £10m through a share issue. The money will be used to redevelop United’s ground at Bramall Lane, as a 40,000 seat stadium. Proposals also include a hotel and leisure facilities to be built on a neighbouring 6.88ha (17 acre) site.
