Lok’n’Store to add a third more space

Lok’n’Store has boosted profit by 29% to £7.5m.

The self-storage firm increased revenue over the year to the end of July by 21% to £22m as occupancy rose from just shy of 70% to 85.8%. Total occupied space grew by 35%.

Lok’n’Store said it had invested £27m in new stores, with a pipeline of 14 stores taking its total to 51 and adding 38% more trading space. Three stores are currently under construction and due to open in early 2022, and four more are soon to commence.
