Furniture retailer Lombok has been bought out of pre-pack administration by its management.
Privet Capital, which bought the company out of administration in 2009, has repurchased the three best performing stores, including one on Tottenham Court Road and a House of Fraser concession.
Stores in Guildford, Hampstead, Brighton, Leamington Spa, Kingston, Wimbledon, Bluewater, Chiswick and King’s Road in west London all closed before administrator Leonard Curtis was appointed.
Lombok had 19 stores before it was bought out of pre-pack administration in July 2009 by Privet Capital, which initiated a turnaround of the business. Five stores were closed at the time of the purchase.
