London director leaves Colliers

A West End director at Colliers International has left the company to launch his own firm.

David Hume, head of tenant representation in the West End team, is to set up his own firm trading as IONA, which will specialise in advising central London office occupiers.

He has been with Colliers International’s central London team for almost five years, having left Cushman & Wakefield in 2010.

During his time with the company, Hume has been involved in a number of significant deals in the capital, including helping oil giant Petrochina to secure a new London headquarters at The Peak in Victoria, SW1, in 2012.

A Colliers International spokesman said: “Our central London team is well positioned for growth and we won’t be recruiting to replace him at this time. However, we will continue to work closely with David on various ongoing projects. We thank David for his contribution and wish him every success with his new venture.”
