London’s first sex museum will open at the Trocadero on Piccadilly Circus in London’s West End.
The MUSE Corporation has gained consent for the museum, which it calls a “reproductive health and sexuality museum” – to be open until 9pm. It is now applying for a licence to keep the museum open later.
The museum is likely to contain a collection of period erotica and pornographic art, literature and artefacts.
It follows in the footsteps of New York, Berlin, Madrid and Paris, which all have sex museums, as well as Amsterdam, which has several.
