Property firms owning £75bn-worth of assets in London have approached the Labour and Conservative mayoral candidates seeking a pledge that they will prevent more offices being converted into homes.
Property associations representing companies in the City and Westminster, which include Land Securities, British Land and the Crown Estate, have produced a manifesto calling for an end to the loss of employment space.
