London Underground is considering selling its 3.24ha (8 acre) Lots Road power station site on Chelsea Harbour. It could be cleaned up for residential development but demolition and clean-up costs could eat into the proceeds. The land will not be available for redevelopment until 1999.
Knight Frank is advising London Underground on property aspects of a tender to manage its electricity supply network for the next 30 years.
