House buyers forced out of London by rising property prices have helped fuel a 10% annual rise in asking prices across the south-east of England.
According to Rightmove that is greater than rises in London of 9.6%. Prices across the country have increased by 2.6% in October compared with September.
Meanwhile, The Times reports that a buyer has been found for Number One, The Thames, a £400,000 derelict fort near the Isle of Grain.
