London’s first bingo hall wins co-living consent

EEH has been granted planning consent to turn London’s first bingo hall into a 127-bed co-living scheme.

The developer received approval for the redevelopment of the Grade II listed 1930s cinema at Burnt Oak Broadway in Edgware at Brent planning committee on 10 March.

Members voted 4-2 in favour of the proposals, which do not include any affordable housing contribution.

The scheme includes 15,285 sq ft of co-working space and amenities including a cinema, gym, library, lounges and dining room inside the original cinema hall.
