Amaris Hospitality, which is owned by Lone Star, is selling the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel London Chelsea, SW6, for £45m – a 5% yield.

It has instructed CBRE to find a buyer for the 172-bedroom hotel, which is located in Chelsea Harbour.

Amaris Hospitality originally bought the hotel as part of the Jurys Inn portfolio and later rebranded it as a DoubleTree.

The US private equity group bought the 7,000-hotel business in January 2015 and five months later appointed Rothschild to undertake a strategic review of the business.

A source said that it was not currently considering selling other hotels and has decided to sell the Chelsea hotel as it is a stabilised asset and it will continue to explore further growth opportunities across the remainder of its portfolio.
