Lord Harris of Peckham, who said he would step down from the board of Carpetright, has changed his mind and is to stay on.
He will remain on the company’s board as a non-executive chairman, and then director once a new chairman is appointed.
Carpetright announced group revenues had fallen 2.2% to £448m, with an underlying pre-tax loss of £4.6m.
