Lord Sugar has put a seven-storey office block in the West End up for sale, hoping to attract offers of around £55m.
CBRE is marketing 215-227 Great Portland Street, W1, known as GPS House, on behalf of Amsprop, Sugar’s real estate investment vehicle.
Amsprop bought the building from Derwent for £23m 2007. In the latest accounts for Amsprop Portland, the subsidiary that holds the property, it was valued at £57.4m as of June 2022, down from £60m a year earlier.
The block is adjacent to the Portland Hospital and is occupied by tenants including HCA Healthcare, on a lease with 17 years remaining.
The private healthcare company is understood to be paying £65 per sq ft for the office space and has an option to renew the lease for 25 years.
