Lots to watch: Gems going under the hammer next week

■ A former Carmelite Monastery with original stained glass, wood panelling and turrets will go under the hammer at Wilsons’ auction on 24 August, with a guide of £650,000. The property, on a 2.2-acre site in Dumbarton, West Dunbartonshire, is being sold as a development opportunity, subject to planning. The auction will be held at the Dalry Auction Complex, Dalry.

■ A two-bedroom room flat in Wolverhampton, West Midlands, producing an income of £16,800 pa, will go under the hammer at Butters John Bee’s auction on 21 August. The flat, in Wergs Hall, is guided at £230,000. The catalogue also includes a let terrace house in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, producing £4,650 pa, which is guided at £38,000-plus. The sale will take place at the Best Western Moat House Hotel, Stoke-on-Trent.

■ A tenanted terrace house on Gypsy Street in Belfast is available at the BRG Gibson auction on 21 August at the Stormont Hotel in the city. The property produces £5,400 pa and is guided at £72,000. Other investments available include three flats in Enniskillen, County Fermanagh, guided at £90,000.

■ A commercial investment on a shopping street in Hull, North Humberside, is available at the Auction House Hull and East Yorkshire sale on 23 August. The property, on Chanterlands Avenue, is let to restaurant and bar Piccolo, produces £10,428 pa and is guided at £100,000-£120,000. The sale will take place at the Beverley Racecourse, Beverley.
