LS Estates has bolstered its team with the appointment of Rowan Jenkins as managing director of development.
Jenkins joins the company from Quadrant Estates, where he was head of development, leading the London offices team and overseeing the construction cycle from deal origination to scheme delivery. During this time, he helped deliver more than 750,000 sq ft of offices across the capital, including the 530,000 sq ft YY London building in Canary Wharf, E14, and 225,000 sq ft OSMO building in Battersea, SW8.
Jenkins began his real estate career in Australia, where he managed infrastructure and development projects at real estate companies including Mirvac and Lendlease.
The move follows the firm’s recent appointment of ex-Landsec director Steve McGuckin as senior development adviser.
LS Estates is currently constructing more than 500,000 sq ft of real estate in London, including 5 Chancery Lane, EC4, and 17 Columbus Courtyard on the Canary Wharf estate, E14.
Mark Swetman, chief executive of LS Estates, said: “Rowan’s experience and expertise within the industry are extremely sought-after and his appointment marks a significant step in the evolution of the business.”
