LSH appointed to advise on Leicestershire scheme

Lambert Smith Hampton has been appointed by Hinckley and Bosworth council to advise on the selection of a developer for a key site in the Leicestershire town.

A shortlist of five developers has been drawn up for the 8.7-acre site, following the initial tender.

The shortlist comprises: Henry Boot, St Modwen, Tin Hat Regeneration Partnership (a venture by Ashcroft Estates and Wilson Bowden), Cordwell Richardson and Tiger Developments.

The site, which is on the edge of the Hinckley’s retail centre, has been earmarked for a mixed-use scheme, including a major food store, more retail units, and leisure facilities, including a new cinema.

The existing bus station, which lies within the site, will be rebuilt and there will be parking for more than 560 cars.

The developers are preparing detailed submissions to be finished by the end of April.
