LSH appoints new regional retail head

Lambert Smith Hampton has appointed Jonathan Thompson as its new regional head of retail, focusing on the North and Scotland.

Thompson joined LSH in 2015 from Tushingham Moore where he spent 11 years, and where he was a partner, having started his career at JLL.

Sean Prigmore remains the company’s national head of retail, and Criona Collins remains head of retail in Ireland. The company has more than 100 staff dedicate to retail and manages 15m sq ft of shopping centres in the UK and Ireland valued at over £3bn.

Former head of retail Stephen Proudley has left the business to join Savills.

LSH chief executive Ezra Nahome said: “The retail sector continues to face challenging market conditions, but there are opportunities. Jonathan becomes our new regional head and will lead our retail offering in the northern region.

“It’s a well-deserved appointment, and we thank Stephen for his contribution over the past three years. We remain one of the UK and Ireland’s largest shopping centre operators with a number of significant sites under our management, and Jonathan and his team will exploit our strengths in this area.”
