In what is being hailed as the biggest deal of its kind in the south Manchester market for several years, Structural Concrete Contractors (SCC) has bought a 15,311 sq m (164,750 sq ft) high bay industrial complex in Kenwood Road, Stockport, for its own occupation. SCC paid the vendor, Thos. Storey Engineers, £1.8m for the property.
Simon Hampson, of the vendor’s agent Lambert Smith Hampton, said the sale ranks as the largest disposal of a single factory in this area for some years. The detached four bay factory on a 4.45ha (11 acre) site also has an overhead crane.
