Lambert Smith Hampton has appointed Abid Jaffry to the new role of head of northern capital markets to co-ordinate the investment teams across five cities.
Jaffry, who was head of the LSH Manchester office for four years, will oversee transactional activities across Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds, Sheffield and Newcastle.
LSH said it was “investing heavily” in seizing opportunities presented by the northern powerhouse as the only commercial property consultancy with an office in each of the five cities.
Matthew Scrimshaw will take over the role of head of Manchester office, while Jaffry will maintain a role in the leadership of the Manchester business working with the North West executive team.
David Moore will continue in his role as head of the North West and lead business development in the region, in addition to his role as national head of retail.
