Lambert Smith Hampton clawed back a large chunk of its losses last year, despite a 10% drop in turnover.
The agent, led by Ezra Nahome (pictured, above), revealed a loss of £3.8m in the year to 31 March 2010 – up on the £19.9m loss in 2009.
Operating profits rose to £4.8m from £4.3m, on the back of cost control measures.
Turnover dipped by 10.1% to £61.7m last year, compared with £68.7m in 2009 and it incurred exceptional costs of £403,000 during the period.
The firm’s highest paid director took home £366,000, compared with £411,000 in 2009.
