Lambert Smith Hampton is moving from its offices in Higham House, Newcastle at the end of October after 50 years.
The firm is moving to the second floor of 41-51 Grey Street, where it is taking 6,000 sq ft in Norham House Estates’ office block.
Bill Lynn, director – head of Newcastle agency, capital markets at Lambert Smith Hampton, said: “While we have a great deal of nostalgia with Higham House, the time is right to move to new premises following the acquisition of the ES Group by Lambert Smith Hampton in March of this year. The new image is in keeping with our corporate style and Grey Street is such a splendid location that all of our staff are looking forward to the move.”
Aidan Baker, director at BNP Paribas Real Estate added: “The landlord committed to a speculative refurbishment of the reception and common parts [of 41-51 Grey Street] earlier this year. The second-floor letting comes quickly after completing these works and confirms that a good-quality building located in one of the city’s most prestigious and desirable office addresses will let quickly in the current market.”
