Property-Cup-presentation-2015Lambert Smith Hampton turned in a top performance on the pitch to triumph over rivals the Shop Agents Society in the Property Cup final on 12 May.

The victory marked the agent’s third cup in five years, with a perfect spring evening the backdrop to a 4-0 contest at Millwall FC’s The Den, SE16.

The Shop Agents played formidably, but after an early goal from Jon Rea-Palmer, there was no let-up from LSH. Jonathan Moore scored a back-post header in the second half to make it 2-0, then, despite a strong fightback, the match was sealed by a goal from man of the match Tom McConway. A late break produced a shot that rebounded to Adam Cleator, who scored the fourth.

The match, which raised money for charity Crash, played out in front of a lively crowd of spectators, many of whom had first watched GVA claim the plate in a 2-0 final against Cushman & Wakefield.

Next season will mark the 50th year of the Property Cup. Interested teams should contact Peter Wedderburn at kbc@blueyonder.co.uk
