The Cowell Group has bought the 157-bedroom Hilton Garden Inn Luton from a client of Tritax.
A price of around £7m is understood to have been agreed for the hotel, which was purchased on behalf of a Hong Kong investor.
Owen Pritchard, director of CBRE Hotels EMEA, which advised Tritax, said: “The sale of the Hilton Garden Inn Luton demonstrates the increased interest in the regional hotel market, which is recovering after the recent economic downturn.”
