LVMH beauty arm completes London HQ move

Luxury fashion house LVMH’s beauty business has completed a deal to move its UK headquarters to Lancer Square in Kensington, W8, in Q4 this year.

The business is relocating from its premises on Oxford Street, W1, as previously reported by EG. It will take a 10-year lease on 23,344 sq ft of offices, across five floors. This includes a 1,879 sq ft private roof terrace.

LVMH Beauty is behind 15 perfumes and cosmetics houses including Parfums Christian Dior, Parfums Givenchy, Guerlain, Acqua Di Parma, Fresh and Kendo Brands.

Lancer Square (pictured) reached practical completion last year, delivered by Bellworth Developments, a wholly-owned property development arm of Malaysian conglomerate LGB Group. It is managed by London-based CIT.

The offices were designed by architects Squire & Partners and contain 47,155 sq ft of grade-A space. Features include a high-ceiling lobby, marble flooring and amenities including “high-specification” changing rooms and 100 cycle storage spaces.

Other tenants at Lancer Square include artisanal delicatessen Bayley & Sage.

Kevin Kuok, chief executive at Bellworth, said: “Lancer Square’s heritage and craftsmanship lends itself perfectly to welcoming LVMH Beauty, who embody the highest standard of quality in their timeless products.

“LVMH Beauty’s mission, striving for perfection whilst respecting their unique legacy, makes this collaboration a natural fit for Lancer Square. From media and music to fashion and finance, LVMH Beauty will join a suite of world-class companies that have chosen to make Kensington their home.”
