The fund manager of LXI REIT has made a third substantial purchase of shares in the company in just over two months.
Simon Lee, fund manager at the company’s investment adviser, LXI REIT Advisors, spent £100,000 on shares in the company on 21 December, the REIT said today – purchasing 87,450 shares at 114.35 pence each.
That follows a £247,299 purchase of 207,989 shares at 118.9p each on 17 October and a £100,000 purchase of 84,775 shares at 118p on 29 November.
Lee has not been the only director building their holding in the REIT. Frederick Brooks, the investment adviser’s CFO, acquired 85,078 shares for £99,811 on 2 December, while fund manager John White bought 167,000 shares for £264,706 on 6 December.
LXI’s shares closed on Wednesday at 114.4p. The stock has lost a fifth of its value since the start of the year.
