Marks & Spencer and Debenhams are to take anchor stores at Westfield and Hermes’ £300m Eagle Centre in Derby.
Steven Lowry, joint md of Westfield Group, revealed agreements had been reached with the two UK retailers as he delivered quarterly results in Australia this week.
Consent was granted in July 2002 to increase the centre from 274,480 sq ft to just over 1m sq ft.
