M&S set to reopen after Manchester bombing

Marks & Spencer will trade from two sites in Manchester city centre over the next three years. Meanwhile it will build a larger store to replace the one destroyed in the IRA bomb in June.

The operation will be split between three floors of clothes and furnishing at Lewis’s department store and a separate food hall nearby.

The new outlet will be twice the size of the old outlet and will be at the heart of plans to regenerate the city centre.
