M7 Real Estate has expanded into Spain, appointing managing director Álvaro Arteaga Biforcos to oversee the business’s ventures in the region.
Madrid has been selected as the first location, bringing the number of countries the business operates in to 14.
Álvaro will be responsible for overseeing expansion, and has more than 18 years’ experience in the industry. He has previously held positions at PwC and Grupo Lar Grosvenor.
The business will focus on acquiring industrial and logistics units, as well as offices.
David Ebbrell, chief executive of M7, said: “Spain is the fourth-largest European country in terms of GDP and population and we believe that there are good opportunities to acquire and manage assets not only in Madrid and Barcelona but also in other regions such as Malaga, Pais Vasco, Valencia and Seville.”
