M7 Real Estate has brought in Peter Wenzel as managing director for Germany.
Wenzel will be tasked with driving the pan-European multi-tenanted specialist’s growth in the German market, especially in the industrial and office sectors, on behalf of its pan-European value add funds and separate account mandates.
Wenzel has almost 15 years’ experience in the real estate and asset management sectors. He joins from RLI Investors where he spent the past six years, most recently as managing director. Prior to joining RLI, he was a vice president at PGIM, focused on light industrial and logistics space, and also spent over five years at GLL Real Estate Partners.
Chief executive David Ebbrell said that M7 saw “great opportunity” in Germany. “His expertise, particularly his network across the industrial and logistics space, will be highly beneficial to the business and his appointment will further strengthen our senior management team.”
Wenzel added: “M7 has bold ambitions to expand in the German market, and I look forward to working with the team to deliver our growth strategy whilst maintaining the delivery of excellent returns for our investors. I am extremely impressed by the team we have in place and I look forward to building on the existing momentum in the business.”
