MacAlpine to leave Mason Philips post

Mason-PhilipsFindlay MacAlpine, investment director and shareholder of London-based surveying firm Mason Philips, is stepping down from the business after 18 years.

MacAlpine will leave in June to pursue new opportunities.

At Mason Philips he was responsible for developing the firm’s investment and strategic asset management services.

MacAlpine began his career at Standard Life in 1986 before joining Conrad Riblat, now Colliers International, in 1988.

He is also co-founder of Ashbourne Properties, a major client of Mason Philips, and the firm behind the 1.5m sq ft redevelopment of Crossharbour District Centre in the Isle of Dogs, E14.

MacAlpine said: “While my plans are not yet fully evolved, I see this as an opportunity to focus my energies on where I can best make a difference, continuing to work with long-established partners, highly regarded friends within the industry and also building new and exciting relationships for the future.”
