Doric Properties has formed a partnership with contractor Mace to deliver its £100m regeneration of Botley town centre in Oxfordshire.
The plans include replacing the existing 1960s shopping centre with a new cinema complex, a hotel, a supermarket, restaurants, a 525-bed student housing block and a Baptist church with a new central public square. Plans were lodged in December 2013 and are due to be heard in the next few months.
Under the terms of the deal, Mace has become a joint venture partner and shareholder in Doric.
Mace has delivered several schemes in the past 10 years in Oxfordshire, including the Saïd Business School, the New Bodleian Library and the Ashmolean Museum.
