Macquarie has agreed to take about 220,000 sq ft of offices at about £43 per sq ft on a 20-year lease at Canary Wharf Group’s only development outside its London Docklands estate.
The Australian financial group is not expected to pay any rent on the building in the Drapers Gardens scheme in the City of London for more than four years.
DTZ is advising Macquarie, Jones Lang LaSalle and CB Richard Ellis are advising Canary Wharf and Exemplar, the co-developer.
