Metquarter Interior

Online retailer MADE.COM is opening is second physical store outside London in the Metquarter, Liverpool.

The 4,000 sq ft showroom follows stores in Soho and Leeds as the online store increases its physical presence.

Annabel Kilner, head of UK at MADE.COM, said: “As an online-only company, where we can bring our brand to life and enable customers to see the quality of our product, with limited additional costs, we will.

MADE.COM raised £38m earlier this year to support expansion in the UK and Europe, and now employs more than 180 people in its Leeds, London and Shanghai offices.

Nigel Poad, managing director of Insite Asset Management, which manages Metquarter, said: “The showroom will give the centre and its customers a fantastic new lifestyle option and is a perfect example of the integration of bricks and clicks in a modern shopping environment.”

MADE.COM follow Hugo Boss to the Metquarter. The fashion brand took 3,000 sq ft in the shopping centre earlier this year.
