Major lettings at Cathedral Lanes, Coventry

Family discount retailer, Wilkinson has taken 3,122 sq m (33,600 sq ft) on two floors at St Martins Property Group’s Cathedral Lanes Shopping Centre in Coventry. Wilkinson has taken a 15 year lease, with five yearly reviews, at an average rent of £235,000pa. Meanwhile, Bass Taverns has taken a 365 sq m (3,934 sq ft) unit on a 25-year lease. The company will pay £65,000pa with five yearly reviews.

Both companies will start trading in the centre, which is being remodelled, in October. They will join retailers Dillons, First Sport and Benetton who are currently operating there. Markham Vaughan Gillingham acted for the St Martins Group while Kingston and Partners represented Wilkinson and J Trevor & Webster advised Bass Taverns.
