Malaysian pension fund Kumpulan Wang Persaraan is in the final stages of agreeing the sale of a City of London office building for £270m.
The move comes as the Malaysian government calls for companies to repatriate funds and support domestic markets.
The company will also benefit from a rise in the value of the property, at 88 Wood Street, as well as foreign currency gains. KWAP bought the property in 2013, paying £215m.
