Mallett reiterates opposition to Trefick

Mallett has reiterated that Trefick’s tender offer of 225p for the fine arts dealer was “unsolicited and unwelcome”.

George Magan, chairman, said Trefick had no previous experience of the market for high-quality antiques.

Jack Petchey’s investment vehicle is thought to be interested because of its properties, which include 2 Davies Street and 141 New Bond Street, in London.
