Acre Manchester, a subsidiary of Westcombe Group, has bought an office building opposite Manchester United’s Old Trafford stadium for £1.9m – a 7% yield.
O&H Properties sold 701 Chester Road, which comprises 31,000 sq ft over six floors.
Tenants include Manchester United, Hilson Moran, ORC International and the National Housing Federation.
The building has 9,850 sq ft of office space available to let in suites sized from 1,989 sq ft.
Conrad O’Neill, director of Canning O’Neill, which acted for O&H Properties, said: “The 701 Chester Road office is an exciting opportunity. This deal is further evidence of the strength of the investment market in Greater Manchester.”
Canning O’Neill and Cushman & Wakefield are joint letting agents on the building. Acre Manchester was not represented.
