There was something in air at last month’s EG Manchester Focus reception at the Epernay Champagne bar. A record turnout and plenty of high spirits – a reflection of returning confidence in the market perhaps?
And there is lots to be confident about with cranes on the city’s skyline and office stock at a five-year low, according to Colliers International figures. Talk even turned to the possibility of speculative development. It is something that we have subsequently explored further in this Focus.
In a particularly celebratory mood was JLL which took away the Most Active Agent in the EGi’s deals competition while James Goode of Roger Hannah was declared as the individual Dealmaker.
