Separately, Central and Urban has put forward plans for 359 flats of one to three bedrooms in two buildings of 10 and 28 storeys on a one-acre site near Piccadilly station. Designed by SimpsonHaugh, the proposals also include 7,309 sq ft of amenity space, two residents’ gardens on the first and the tenth floors, five townhouses and parking for 359 bikes.
Elsewhere, Zephyr X is looking to bring forward a part 17 part 23-storey build-to-rent block at 33-41 Cheetham Hill Road. The 237-home scheme, designed by Hawkins\Brown, would replace existing buildings on the site, which were formerly used as a car dealership.
Developer Views Holdings is also looking to get the green light for the transformation of the building at 136 Withington Road. The proposals, which include the partial demolition of the existing structure, would create a block of 31 flats and four townhouses.
