Some well-known faces from Manchester’s property scene have stripped off to raise money for The Christie hospital’s cancer charity.
Karl Kirkpatrick, property asset manager at renewable energy building services provider Verte; Andy Titterton, associate director at AEW Architects; and Kate Blessing, senior project manager at Turner & Townsend, all posed for a risqué calendar, organised by Verte.
The firm’s marketing director, Mo Whittaker, came up with the idea after managing director David Wilson was diagnosed with throat cancer and treated at The Christie.
In addition to the calendar, which is on sale at £10, Whittaker will be trekking the Inca Trail in Peru from 26 March, walking 40km at an altitude of 4,000m in four days. She hopes to raise at least £5,000.
She said: “We aim to sell at least 500 copies of the calendar and we are on track to reach that. They have proved very popular! So many people are touched by cancer and when someone close to you is diagnosed, it motivates you to help.
