Property Alliance Group’s Pinnacle office scheme on King Street, Manchester has secured record rent from an existing tenant.
Investec are taking the 1,900 sq ft ninth floor at £34.60 per sq ft on a 10-year lease, just over the record breaking £34.55 sq ft it agreed on the 10th floor last year.
The price was assumed to be a one-off for the top floor of the building.
Property Alliance director, Dominic Pozzoni, said: “The rent reflects the shortage of quality space in the city.”
