A Dutch bar operator is making its UK debut at Morrison Merlin’s £100m Great Northern Experience mixed-use scheme in Manchester.
TELO UK, trading as Teasers, is taking 1,115 sq m (12,000 sq ft) – the whole of the Screen Wall Café, which overlooks the Great Northern Square, for an entertainment and café bar.
The music and live entertainment operator has agreed an initial rent of £140,000 pa on a 25-year lease and will open this May.
Dunlop Heywood’s Andrea Stott, who represented TELO UK, said: “Teasers firmly believe in the unrivalled opportunity Manchester presents as a European entertainment city. Great Northern provides the ideal opportunity for their first UK outlet.”
Teasers has an aggressive UK acquisition programme and is also taking its concept to the USA where its Los Angeles venue will open this year.
