Manchester United is set to move into new offices in Mayfair as it expands its commercial operations in London.
The football club is working through a deal to take around 11,500 sq ft of prime office space at 5 Stratton Street in London’s West End, W1. The 65,400 sq ft building is owned by Grafton.
The club launched its operations in London three years ago when it set up an office on Pall Mall. But the 45-man team, which was put together to secure global sponsorship deals, has outgrown the St James’s office.
United is expected to pay a rent of almost £80 per sq ft at its new offices.
