Manchester’s 3 Hardman Square nears full occupancy after double letting

CBRE has confirmed two lettings totalling 44,000 sq ft at Royal London’s 3 Hardman Square in Manchester.

Doctors’ regulator the General Medical Council took 22,000 sq ft on the eighth floor, while professional networking firm In Touch Networks took 22,000 sq ft on the third floor, as reported by EG in October.

The GMC will turn its base into a clinical assessment centre for overseas doctors.

The lettings follow a refurbishment at 3 Hardman Square, which included upgrading the ground floor reception area and lift lobbies and installing shower facilities and a cycle hub.

There is around 8,800 sq ft remaining on both the fourth and fifth floors in the building.

Neil Mort, senior director at CBRE Manchester, said: “Royal London’s strategy to invest in improving the building since its acquisition at the end of 2017 is seeing success. 2019 promises to be a positive year for the building, with the opening of the new cycle hub, which coincides with the completion of the new public real area, The Field, located adjacent to the building.”

OBI represented In Touch Networks. JLL represented the General Medical Council. CBRE and Howlings represented Royal London on both deals.

CBRE and Colliers International are the letting agents on the building.
