Manchester’s former Parkers Hotel hits the market

Colliers has been appointed to find a new owner for the former Parkers Hotel in Manchester city centre.

Offers in excess of £14m are sought for the 75,046 sq ft building.

According to Radius data, the Grade II listed building adjacent to Victoria Station is owned by Euromanor Properties. Fronting Corporation Street, it also sits next to NOMA, the 20-acre commercial and residential district.

The property was converted into flats in 1995, having been constructed in the early 1900s for the Cooperative Insurance Society as its headquarters.

Tim Meakes, director in the national capital markets team at Colliers, said: “Parkers Hotel offers owners an opportunity to receive income whilst being able to plan long-term asset management strategies for both the retail and leisure space and the potential to re-develop and reconfigure the existing residential units.”
