Bruntwood SciTech is to redevelop King’s House in Manchester city centre into modern workspace.
The project, which has a gross development value of £13m, will see the refurbishment of the 38,000 sq ft building into modern office and amenities space. It is currently home to two restaurants – San Carlo and Koreana – which will remain open during the transformation works.
The proposals include 12 workspaces ranging in size from 1,000 sq ft to 10,000 sq ft, which will be fully fitted and furnished wiht kitchens, meeting rooms, phone booths and breakout areas.
The scheme, designed by EPR Architects, is targeting and EPC A and completion is expected in summer next year.
The five-storey building sits within the St Mary’s Parsonage regeneration area on King Street West and will be the first office scheme in the area.
